At Trinity Mansion House we provide an exquisite and unique property within the beautiful historic capital city of Edinburgh for you to use as a location for film and photography shoots.

Originally built in 1867, this spectacular three storey Victorian house was built for a merchant ship Captain based at the Newhaven Harbour for his family home. It was subsequently passed on to the Charlotte Baptist Church where in the early twentieth century when girls ‘in service’ in the New Town had nothing to do on their Sunday afternoon, the church opened these doors to them.

Forty years later when they had reached retirement age, they stayed at this property as their main residence after it opened in 1956 as Beulah Care Home. It ran as a residential care home until 2010 for the elderly providing special care.

As soon as we saw this property we fell in love with it instantly, and took it on as our personal mission over the next few years to restore this from a care home back into the grand family home it once used to be.

Working closely with specialist architects and contractors, we have made it ideal for modern contemporary living whilst blending in the period architecture of the house itself.

Although it took us years to complete our vision, we think the results speak for themselves!

We believe that Trinity Mansion House would be a perfect location for your photography and film shots, and will appeal to those looking for something that bit special and unique.
